\u25c6 Eco-Friendly Landscaping Soil Conditioner to Be Applied On-Site Soon<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n POSCO E&C (formerly POSCO Engineering & Construction), in collaboration with Samwha Greentech Co., Ltd., has successfully developed \u201cRE:CO Soil,\u201d an eco-friendly landscaping soil conditioner made from coffee grounds\u2014the first such achievement in the construction industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Coffee grounds, commonly referred to as spent coffee residue, account for 99.8% of coffee beans after brewing. Typically, these grounds are either landfilled or incinerated, processes that generate carbon emissions. As a result, there has been growing interest across various industries in recycling coffee grounds as part of broader efforts to reduce carbon emissions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
