Gyeongbuk Center for Creative Economy & Innovation Secures a Foothold for Global Expansion at Singapore’s “SWITCH 2025”

Expands Collaboration through MOUs with Local Investment Institutions and a Global Demo Day

The Gyeongbuk Center for Creative Economy & Innovation (hereinafter referred to as the Gyeongbuk Center) participated in “SWITCH 2025,” held in Singapore from October 29 to October 31, showcasing outstanding startups from the Gyeongbuk region to the global market.

As part of the “2025 Gyeongbuk Global Startup Package Growth Support Program,” the initiative went beyond participation in SWITCH 2025 to include an IR demo day with invited local accelerators (ACs) and venture capital firms (VCs), networking programs, and the signing of MOUs with Singapore-based investment institutions, thereby strengthening the foundation for global expansion of Gyeongbuk startups.

At the event, three companies—Bichedam, EOMTech, and EAST— operated a joint exhibition booth, engaging with key players in the global innovation ecosystem, including buyers and investors. Through SWITCH, Asia’s largest technology and innovation exhibition, participating companies explored opportunities for overseas market entry and secured various global partnership prospects.

In addition, the Gyeongbuk Center signed MOUs with Singapore-based accelerator Meet Ventures and venture capital firm Liberative Capital Asia. Through this agreement, the three organizations plan to jointly support Korean startups’ expansion into Southeast Asia, co-operate global IR programs, and build a sustainable, innovation-focused investment collaboration network.

Furthermore, during the global demo day held locally, participating startups delivered IR pitches in front of representatives from Singaporean VCs and CVCs. This provided startups with direct investor feedback and enabled them to assess concrete opportunities for collaboration and investment…
