Seven pre-unicorn companies with strong potential for global growth through collaboration with major corporations in the Gyeongbuk region have been selected.
According to the Gyeongbuk Center for Creative Economy & Innovation on the 12th, the companies selected for the “2024 Gyeongbuk Pre-Unicorn Growth Support Program” are:
- Basflex – a globally competitive catheter CDMO
- Polaris3D – an AI-based robot control platform and robot services incorporating autonomous driving technology
- Premtu – Fe-based ultra-thin current collectors for next-generation secondary batteries and all-solid-state batteries
- Solarize – inverters providing real-time condition diagnostics and optimal control for green hydrogen facilities
- EOMTech – composite materials utilizing waste plastics and industrial byproducts
- InHandPlus – InHand Watch
- BioDesign Lab – gene delivery (vector) technology for the development of gene, cell, and immunotherapies
All selected companies were recommended by major corporations with operations in the Gyeongbuk region, including Samsung Electronics and POSCO. Following a public selection process, they were officially named to the pre-unicorn company list…
